The Land Reparations Commission Act establishes a Commission on Land Reparations to study and develop land reparation proposals for African Americans. The Commission will identify eligible individuals, establish a process for assessing eligibility, and determine appropriate compensation. It will also identify and procure suitable land from various sources. The Commission will submit a report to Congress within 18 months of its first meeting.
