The Protecting Access to American Products Act establishes a process for temporarily waiving coastwise endorsement requirements for transporting goods. The head of an agency must respond to a waiver request within 60 days, with a waiver deemed granted if no response is made within 61 days. If granted, the waiver is valid for 30 days and can be extended in 15-day increments. The head of an agency must notify Congress of any waiver granted or issued.
