Introduced·3/9/26

Prohibits federal interference with interstate traffic of unpasteurized milk and milk products.

The Interstate Milk Freedom Act of 2026 aims to prevent federal departments, agencies, or courts from taking any action that would prohibit, interfere with, regulate, or restrict the interstate traffic of unpasteurized milk and milk products that are packaged for direct human consumption. This prohibition applies if the milk or milk product is produced, packaged, and moved in compliance with the laws of its State of origin, and if the State of origin allows the distribution of unpasteurized milk or milk products for direct human consumption. The Act does not preempt any State law.
