The Secret Service-Local Law Enforcement Partnership Act of 2026 establishes the Extraordinary Protection Reimbursement Program within the Department of Homeland Security. This program provides grants to State, local, Tribal, and territorial law enforcement agencies for costs incurred in excess of typical operation costs related to the protection of non-governmental properties designated by the Secret Service. The program requires annual reporting on grant disbursements and expenditures. The Inspector General of the Department of Homeland Security is mandated to audit the program annually.
