The Secret Service-Local Law Enforcement Partnership Act of 2026 establishes the Extraordinary Protection Reimbursement Program within the Department of Homeland Security. Eligible agencies must certify that the grant will be used for costs exceeding typical law enforcement operations. Grant funds can be used for personnel costs related to protection and equipment acquisition, subject to Director approval.
