Establishes a database of veteran-owned small businesses to assist the VA in meeting subcontracting goals.
The Veterans Affairs Subcontractor Competition and Opportunity Network Act requires the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to create and maintain a database of small businesses certified by the Small Business Administration as owned and controlled by veterans. This database aims to help the Department of Veterans Affairs meet its subcontracting goals for veteran-owned businesses. The database will be available to non-small businesses involved in VA contracts to aid in formulating subcontracting plans.
