Amends the Public Health Service Act to establish a loan deferment and forgiveness program for mental health professionals.

This bill amends the Public Health Service Act to create a mental health provider loan deferment and forgiveness program. Eligible individuals, including those enrolled in mental or behavioral health professions programs at minority-serving institutions, can defer loan payments and receive forgiveness for up to $200,000 of their student loans if they commit to providing mental and behavioral health care services for at least five years in areas with a shortage of mental health professionals.
