Combating Deceptive Practices in Assistance Programs Act of 2026 amends Medicaid to ensure personal care services for those unable to perform three.

The Combating Deceptive Practices in Assistance Programs Act of 2026 amends title XIX of the Social Security Act to ensure the appropriate availability of personal care services under the Medicaid program. This change specifies that Medicaid will cover personal care services for individuals who are unable to perform three or more activities of daily living. The amendment will apply to medical assistance furnished on or after January 12, 2027.
