Gwenn’s Law requires the Secretary of Health and Human Services to launch public awareness campaigns to increase women's participation in clinical trials conducted or supported by the National Institutes of Health. The law also mandates an action plan to coordinate Department of Health and Human Services efforts to incentivize research on products for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of rare diseases and conditions that disproportionately impact women.
