Introduced·2/23/26

Allows children or their parents to sue for damages from medical professionals who performed certain interventions.

The Chloe Cole Act of 2026 provides a private right of action for children and their parents against health care professionals, hospitals, or clinics who participated in certain interventions on children. The bill defines "covered intervention" as providing items or services to intentionally delay, halt, or disrupt natural body development or alter physical appearance or reproductive function. Exceptions include treatments for disorders of sexual development or caused by infection, injury, disease, or disorder.
