Coastal Trust Fund Act

Establishes the Coastal Storm Risk Management Trust Fund to support coastal storm risk management projects.

The Coastal Trust Fund Act establishes the Coastal Storm Risk Management Trust Fund in the U.S. Treasury. The fund receives $1 billion annually from Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act revenues and interest from investments. It supports the Army Corps of Engineers' coastal storm risk management projects, including construction, operation, maintenance, repair, rehabilitation, and nourishment. The Secretary of the Treasury manages the fund, with annual reports to Congress. Upon termination, any remaining balance transfers to the general Treasury fund.
