Miranda’s Law, also known as the Miranda Vargas School Bus Driver Red Flag Act, requires the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to implement a national employer notification service. This service will automatically notify employers of any changes in the driving record or license status of employees with commercial driver’s licenses due to violations, accidents, or suspensions. The law also mandates that schools and school districts using private transportation services for students must participate in this notification service.
