Introduced·12/17/25

Public Health Air Quality Act of 2025 expands air quality monitoring and reporting to protect public health.

The Public Health Air Quality Act of 2025 aims to enhance air quality monitoring and reporting to safeguard public health. It mandates the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to deploy additional air quality systems, particularly in communities disproportionately affected by air pollution. The EPA must also ensure continuous, real-time monitoring at the fenceline of facilities emitting hazardous air pollutants. The Act requires the EPA to promulgate regulations for emissions measurement and quantification, including fenceline monitoring, for industrial source categories.
