Expands the definition of professional degree in the Higher Education Act of 1965 to include various advanced degrees.

The Professional Student Degree Act amends the Higher Education Act of 1965 to expand the definition of "professional degree." This definition now includes degrees that signify both completion of academic requirements for beginning practice in a given profession and a level of professional skill beyond that normally required for a bachelor's degree. The expanded list includes degrees such as Pharmacy, Physician Assistant/Associate, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Nursing, Public Health, Business Administration and Management, Accounting, Architecture, Education, Special Education.
