The AI for America Act requires the Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy to develop an action plan for artificial intelligence, including leadership, workforce development, public-private partnerships, and measures against security risks and ideological bias. The Director must also identify regulatory barriers to AI adoption in healthcare, scientific research, and other sectors. Additionally, the Director of the National Institute of Standards and Technology must submit a report on measures to detect and prevent security risks and ideological bias in AI.
