The Food Bank Emergency Support Act of 2025 provides $462,500,000 in supplemental appropriations to carry out the emergency food assistance program under the Emergency Food Assistance Act of 1983. This funding is available if the Secretary of Agriculture determines that budget authority is insufficient to provide timely benefit payments to all eligible households under the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008.
