PLAY Act Prioritizing Lifestyle and Activity for Youth Act

Establishes an interagency task force to promote physical activity and wellness among youth through community-supported spaces.

The PLAY Act directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to establish a task force on youth health and wellness. The task force will identify opportunities for coordination between agencies and organizations to create outdoor environments that encourage physical activity and well-being among youth. It will also identify barriers to accessing outdoor spaces and promote scalable models for improving children’s physical and emotional health. The task force will submit preliminary and final reports to Congress.
