Rural Partnership and Prosperity Act

Introduced·11/12/25

Rural Partnership and Prosperity Act authorizes grants for rural economic development and technical assistance.

The Rural Partnership and Prosperity Act authorizes the Secretary of Agriculture to establish a program to award multiyear grants to coordinate federal, nonprofit, and for-profit investment in rural areas. The grants prioritize areas with higher nonmetropolitan poverty levels and lower population levels. The Secretary may waive the matching funds requirement based on demonstrated need. The act also establishes a Rural Partners Network to coordinate federal programs serving rural areas and prioritizes Indian Tribes in funding allocation.
