Establishes a pilot program to extend work-study allowance eligibility to student veterans pursuing education or training at least half-time.

The Student Veteran Work Study Modernization Act establishes a pilot program to expand eligibility for a work-study allowance paid by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs. This allowance is extended to student veterans who are pursuing programs of rehabilitation, education, or training on at least a half-time basis. The Secretary of Veterans Affairs will carry out this pilot program for five years.
