The Fight Illicit Pill Presses Act amends the Controlled Substances Act to require regulated persons to identify tableting machines, encapsulating machines, and their critical parts by serial number. These regulated persons include manufacturers, distributors, importers, exporters, and brokers of these machines and parts. The Attorney General must promulgate regulations within 180 days of the Act's enactment, including guidance on serial numbers for machines manufactured before the Act's effective date.
