The New York-New Jersey Watershed Protection Act of 2025 establishes the New York-New Jersey Watershed Restoration Program. The Act directs the Secretary of the Interior to establish the program to restore and protect the New York-New Jersey Watershed. The Act also establishes the New York-New Jersey Watershed Restoration Grant Program to provide grants to State, Tribal, and local governments, nonprofit organizations, institutions of higher education, and other eligible entities, to carry out the coordinated restoration and protection activities.
