Community Mental Wellness Worker Training Act authorizes grants for training community mental wellness workers.

The Community Mental Wellness Worker Training Act authorizes the Secretary of Health and Human Services to award grants to eligible entities for community mental wellness worker training programs. These programs support training, certification, and supervision of workers to screen for and provide evidence-based treatments for mental health and substance use disorders. Priority for grants is given to entities in areas with high poverty, unemployment, or substance use rates, or medically underserved communities.
