Extends the expiration dates of water infrastructure resilience and sustainability programs.
The Water Infrastructure Resilience and Sustainability Act amends the Federal Water Pollution Control Act and the Safe Drinking Water Act to extend the expiration dates of three programs: the Clean Water Infrastructure Resiliency and Sustainability Program, the Drinking Water System Infrastructure Resilience and Sustainability Program, and the Midsize and Large Drinking Water System Infrastructure Resilience and Sustainability Program. These programs, which support water infrastructure resilience and sustainability, will now expire in 2031 instead of 2026.
