The Stand Strong for Medicare Act of 2025 amends title XVIII of the Social Security Act to include coverage for certain fall prevention items under the Medicare program. These items include grab bars, non-slip mats, shower chairs, bed rails, and other items specified by the Secretary. The coverage applies to items not furnished pursuant to a physician or practitioner order. Additionally, payments for these fall prevention items are exempt from any reduction due to sequestration. The amendments will take effect 60 days after the enactment of this Act.
