Modernizing Rural Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner Utilization Act of 2025 amends title XVIII of the Social Security Act to update Medicare requirements for physician assistants and nurse practitioners. The bill modifies the arrangement requirements for facilities to meet state law or state regulatory mechanisms governing the practice of physician assistants or nurse practitioners. The changes will take effect on January 1, 2027, applying to items and services furnished on or after that date.
