The Protecting Air Ambulance Services for Americans Act of 2025 amends title XVIII of the Social Security Act to revise payment for air ambulance services under the Medicare program. The bill allows the Secretary of Health and Human Services to revise the fee schedule for air ambulance services based on data collected, including average annual operating costs, average cost per transport, and payor mix. The Secretary must finalize and publish a final rule implementing air ambulance data collection requirements within 6 months of the Act's enactment.
