Patriot Parks Act authorizes a surcharge on international visitors to national parks.

The Patriot Parks Act amends the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act to allow the Secretary of the Interior to collect a surcharge from international visitors to units of the National Park System. The surcharge applies to entrance fees and National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Passes. The amount of the surcharge is determined by the superintendent of the applicable unit of the National Park System, with the goal of maximizing revenue while retaining international visitation. Exceptions include the Washington Monument and International Peace Parks.
