Jobs in the Woods Act establishes a grant program for forestry workforce development.

The Jobs in the Woods Act requires the Secretary of Agriculture to establish a grant program for eligible entities to carry out career pathway training programs in eligible areas. Eligible entities include nonprofit organizations, states, Indian tribes, local governments, and institutions of higher education. Grants prioritize entities addressing an aging workforce and youth migration, and partnering with secondary schools, vocational or technical schools, or junior or community colleges. The Secretary shall award grants for up to four years, with amounts between $500,000 and $2,000,000.
