Preventive Health Savings Act amends the Congressional Budget Act of 1974 to include preventive health savings in budget projections.

The Preventive Health Savings Act amends the Congressional Budget Act of 1974 to require the Director of the Congressional Budget Office to determine if proposed legislation would result in net reductions in budget outlays through the use of preventive health care. If such reductions are identified, the Director must include a description and estimate of these reductions in budget projections for the budgetary outyears. These estimates can be used as supplementary information but cannot determine compliance with the Congressional Budget Act of 1974 or other budgetary enforcement controls.
