Modifies conditions for redeveloping veterans' vocational rehabilitation plans.
The Focused Assistance and Skills Training for Veterans’ Employment and Transition Success Act, or FAST VETS Act, amends title 38 of the United States Code to modify the conditions under which the Secretary of Veterans Affairs must redevelop an individualized vocational rehabilitation plan for a veteran. The Secretary must redevelop the plan if the achievement of the long-range rehabilitation goals is no longer feasible due to changes in the veteran's employment handicap and is more likely under a different plan. The Secretary may also disapprove redevelopment if it is not appropriate.
