The End the Cyprus Embargo Act removes the policy of denial for exports, re-exports, or transfers of defense articles and services to the Republic of Cyprus, provided the request is made by or on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Cyprus. The President may terminate this exclusion for a 5-year period if the Government of the Republic of Cyprus is no longer an end-user of such defense articles or services. The exclusion does not apply if there are credible human rights concerns.
