Retired Law Enforcement Officers Continuing Service Act

Establishes a grant program to help law enforcement agencies with civilian law enforcement tasks.

The bill amends the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to establish a grant program for law enforcement agencies to hire retired personnel for civilian law enforcement tasks. These tasks include assisting in homicide investigations, carjacking investigations, financial crimes investigations, reviewing camera footage, crime scene analysis, forensics analysis, and providing expertise in computers, computer networks, information technology, or the internet.
