STOCK Act 2.0 amends federal ethics laws to enhance transparency and prevent conflicts of interest among senior government officials.

STOCK Act 2.0 amends chapter 131 of title 5, United States Code, and the STOCK Act to enhance financial disclosure requirements and ban stock trading for certain senior government officials. The bill requires Members of Congress, congressional staff, and very senior employees to report payments received from the Federal Government. It also mandates electronic filing and online public availability of financial disclosure forms for Members of Congress, judicial officers, and other covered individuals.
