Prohibits discrimination in the Armed Forces based on gender identity.

The Fit to Serve Act amends title 10, United States Code, to prohibit discrimination in the Armed Forces on the basis of gender identity. This includes prohibiting the Secretary concerned from prescribing service qualifications, involuntarily separating members, denying medically necessary health care, or requiring service in the sex assigned at birth. The term "gender identity" is defined as the gender-related identity, appearance, mannerisms, or other gender-related characteristics of an individual, regardless of the individual’s designated sex at birth.
