The AGRITOURISM Act establishes an Office of Agritourism within the Department of Agriculture to promote agritourism activities. The office will encourage agritourism businesses and activities, including educational experiences, outdoor recreation, entertainment, direct sales, and accommodations. The Director of the Office will coordinate with other agencies, advise the Secretary, and ensure USDA programs address best agritourism practices. The bill also expresses the sense of Congress that the Secretary should incorporate agritourism into the Department comprehensively.
