The Michael Enzi Voluntary Protection Program Act of 2025 establishes a voluntary protection program to encourage excellence in employee safety and health. The Secretary of Labor will modernize and support a tiered challenge program within the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Employers participating in the program will conduct annual self-evaluations and onsite evaluations by OSHA representatives. The program includes systematic hazard assessments, hazard prevention programs, employee training, and monitoring of program performance.
