Federal HB2827 grants the United States Court of Federal Claims jurisdiction to hear land claims from the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma regarding land in Illinois. The bill extinguishes all other claims from the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma to land in Illinois, except for those filed under the Treaty of Grouseland. This jurisdiction expires one year after enactment unless the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma files a claim.
