The Act prohibits the import, sale, manufacture, transfer, receipt, or possession of these firearms and devices in interstate or foreign commerce. Exceptions include certain firearms for government and nuclear facility use. Licensed importers and manufacturers must mark these firearms as required by the Attorney General.
