The BRAIN Act seeks to advance research and treatment of brain tumors, improve awareness of clinical trials, and enhance care for survivors. It includes a national campaign to raise awareness among health care providers and the public about the importance of clinical trials and biomarker testing. The Act also establishes pilot programs to develop care models for brain tumor survivors, fosters transparency in biospecimen collections, and supports research through the Glioblastoma Therapeutics Network.
