The Iranian Terror Prevention Act requires the Secretary of State to designate specific Iranian-linked organizations as foreign terrorist organizations within 90 days of enactment. The President must determine within 60 days if sanctions should be imposed on these organizations or related entities. The President must also report to Congress within 60 days of making such a determination, detailing whether sanctions have been imposed and explaining any unsanctioned organizations.
