The Seniors’ Access to Critical Medications Act of 2025 amends title XVIII of the Social Security Act to create an exception to the physician self-referral prohibition for certain outpatient prescription drugs furnished by a physician practice under the Medicare program. This exception applies to covered part D drugs prescribed by a referring physician or another physician within the same group practice, dispensed by the referring physician or a supervised individual, and billed by the dispensing physician or group practice.
