The Portable Ultrasound Reimbursement Equity Act of 2025 amends title XVIII of the Social Security Act to include coverage of portable ultrasound transportation and set up services under the Medicare program. This bill ensures that portable ultrasound services receive the same payment as portable X-ray services. The changes will apply to services provided on or after January 1, 2027.
