Safe Vehicle Access for Survivors Act allows survivors to request termination of connected vehicle services misused by abusers.

The Safe Vehicle Access for Survivors Act establishes a process for survivors to request the termination or disabling of connected vehicle services that abusers misuse. Survivors can submit a request to covered providers, which must act within two business days. The Act defines "survivor" as an individual who is not less than 18 years old and against whom a covered act has been committed or allegedly committed. Covered acts include domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and sex trafficking.
