Establishes the Office of Gun Violence Prevention within the Department of Justice to coordinate and enhance gun violence prevention efforts.

The Office of Gun Violence Prevention Act of 2025 establishes the Office of Gun Violence Prevention within the Department of Justice. The Office will be headed by a Director appointed by the Attorney General. The Director's duties include evaluating and coordinating existing laws, regulations, and programs to reduce gun violence, recommending policy options to Congress and the President, and assisting communities affected by gun violence with crisis response activities. The Office will also educate the public about gun violence prevention and assess ongoing research efforts.
