The EAGLES Act of 2025 reauthorizes and expands the National Threat Assessment Center, operated by the United States Secret Service. The Center will focus on training and education in threat assessment and prevention of targeted violence, particularly in schools. It will develop evidence-based programs and offer training courses to agencies and entities with protective or public safety responsibilities. The Center will also conduct research on targeted school violence and publish findings on its website and the School Safety Clearinghouse.
