Prevents certain alien individuals from occupying low-income units in qualified housing projects.
Amends the Internal Revenue Code to prevent certain alien individuals from occupying low-income units in qualified housing projects. Specifically, it introduces an occupancy requirement for low-income units in qualified low-income buildings, barring units from being occupied by alien individuals not described in specific paragraphs of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1980. States can elect to reduce the housing credit dollar amount instead of enforcing the occupancy requirement. The changes apply to taxable years beginning after December 31, 2027.
