The Improving Access to WIC Act establishes a grant program to improve access to the special supplemental nutrition program for women, infants, and children. The Secretary of Agriculture will make grants to State agencies that opt-in to the program. Grant funds must be used to improve access to, and participation and retention in, the WIC program. The bill authorizes $50 million annually for fiscal years 2027 through 2031.
