The Badge-to-Business Act amends the Small Business Act to offer no-collateral express loans to qualified career law enforcement officers. A qualified officer must have completed at least 10 years of service and be free from pending investigations or administrative proceedings related to misconduct. The Administrator cannot collect a guarantee fee for these loans starting January 1, 2027, unless the cost to the Administration is directly attributable to guaranteeing such loans.
