Amends the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act of 1991 to designate U.S. Route 287 as Interstate Route I-47.

The I-47 Future Interstate Act of 2026 amends the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act of 1991 to designate U.S. Route 287 from Port Arthur, Texas, to Choteau, Montana, as Interstate Route I-47. This change is made by adding a new subsection to the Act, designating this route as a high priority corridor. The bill also updates the numbering and designation of Interstate routes to include this new designation.
