Data Center Resource Disclosure Act mandates annual surveys on data center resource consumption.

The Data Center Resource Disclosure Act requires the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Communications and Information to conduct annual surveys on data center resource consumption. The surveys will request voluntary information on energy and water consumption from data center operators. The results will be published on the National Telecommunications and Information Administration's website, including an interactive map of the United States, identification of data centers with incomplete information, and a summary of public comments.
