The Consumer Protection and Recovery Act amends the Federal Trade Commission Act to confirm the authority of the Federal Trade Commission to seek permanent injunctions and other equitable relief for violations of any provision of law enforced by the Commission. It also allows the Commission to seek disgorgement of unjust enrichment, restitution for losses, contract rescission or reformation, refunds, and return of property. The amendments apply to any action or proceeding pending or commenced after the enactment of this Act.
